At approximately 11:00 am on Monday, 11 July 2016, Mohammed Al Hennawi, 14, was admitted to the Indonesian Hospital after sustaining bullet wound in his chest. Medical sources described his injury as moderate, as the bullet entered his shoulder and settled in the right side of his chest. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the child was injured when people opened fire in the air in celebration of successful results at the high school exams, locally known as ‘tawjihi’. Al Hennawi was in front of his house west of Jabaliya refugee camp when he was injured.
